St. Clair Rotary Club Launches Community Flag Program to Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary
St. Clair, MI — St. Clair Rotary Club invites residents and businesses to show their patriotism and community spirit by participating in its Flag Program, a local initiative designed to honor the United States while enhancing the beauty of local neighborhoods.
The Flag Program offers a simple and meaningful way to display the American flag and celebrate national holidays, including Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriot Day, and Veterans Day. Participants may also choose to display their flag year-round.
As part of the program, Rotary Club members will install a 3-foot by 5-foot American flag, along with a flagpole and permanent ground sleeve, at participating homes and businesses. This service provides a convenient, hassle-free way for community members to take part in patriotic observances.
“The Flag Program is a simple but powerful way for our community to come together, celebrate our nation, and create a sense of pride throughout our neighborhoods,” said Jack Kinney, Chair of the St. Clair Rotary Club Flag Program.
Participation is open to residents and businesses in St. Clair, China Township, East China Township, and St. Clair Township.
Program Pricing:
- Full installation (flag, pole, and ground sleeve): $80
- Replacement flag or pole: $50 each
Flags displayed year-round are expected to last about one year. Participants may contact the Rotary Club for replacements as needed.
Proceeds from the Flag Program support St. Clair Rotary Club’s ongoing community service projects and charitable initiatives.
St. Clair Rotary Club is dedicated to serving the local community through volunteerism, fundraising, and service projects that create a lasting positive impact in the region.
